Our day in the wonderland
I’m a bit late in talking about this, as it’s been a busy couple of weeks, but I had tell you about ‘walking in a vintage wonderland’ at bake-a-boo on the 5th December.
We had a delightful afternoon, with a bunch of lovely and super talented and creative women, who bought their delights to bake-a-boo for a mini Christmas fair, filled with vintage delights – and of course tea and cake.
Good friends of bake-a-boo – love miss daisy, bluesky flowers, , London Lily, , Sobu and madam social, all came along with their beautiful creations including vintage clothes, knitwear, pretty china, vintage cakestands and teacups, fabric corsages, jewellerey, bunting, plants and flowers, for people to browse whilst nibbling mini cakes from bake-a-boo’s Christmas treat offerings, washed down with complimentary winter tea – the winter tea was a huge hit with most people, we had to restock our supplies after the day was over!
It was hard to resist with so many things I wanted to indulge myself in, but I will admit I bought myself some ‘love, peace & happiness’ bunting, which now has pride of place over my bed at home – just because I don’t think I have enough bunting in my life! :0)
Thank you for everyone who came a long to see us and everyone who was involved x
Here’s a little video of clips from the day – big thank you to xanthe berkeley for putting this together.
and here is an equally fabulous video created by lovely Laura from love miss daisy – thank you Laura x
